Funding will be used to support the first phase of Staveley Waterside, a mixed-use development centred around the Staveley Canal Basin.

This phase will include the creation of an access road, pontoons to create moorings, a café and flexible space for small businesses.

This project should encourage more visitors to use the canal and will also create space for around ten new businesses.
