Do you need help identifying your mystery object or archaeological treasure?
Come along and meet Meghan King, the finds liaison officer for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, who is based at Derby Museum and Art Gallery.
Meghan will be on hand to provide an introduction to the Portable Antiquities Scheme, the treasure process, and explain her role within the ccheme. She will bring a handling collection so that attendees can handle typical objects recorded by the scheme, and she can take in finds found by the public in order to identify and record them on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database.
