One of our Collection Officer’s has been busy creating an amazing Historic Walking Trail around Chesterfield Town Centre which is fun for all the family.

Print off the Historic Walking Trail and head into town to see the shops here now and discover how it used to look in days gone by:

Compare the Market Place in the early 20 Century with what’s there today, see Burlington Street with trams in the 1930s and Stephenson Memorial Hall which now houses the Museum and Pomegranate Theatre.

There’s lots of fun to be had whilst learning all about the history of the Town Centre!
