Location: Assembly Rooms, Chesterfield Market Hall
Join the Chesterfield Musuem team for an exhibition that unlocks Lockdown in Chesterfield by exploring stories of local people and organisations through art, textile, creative writing, photography and film.
The Covid-19 pandemic led to the first instance of widescale isolation being used as a measure to prevent the spread of disease in over 200 years and had a profound impact on the population.
When the first Lockdown happened in 2020, Chesterfield Museum decided to commemorate this difficult time by presenting a community exhibition of works created by local people inspired by ‘Lockdown’ and this is now ready to be enjoyed by the public.
