Safe agent

Safe agent was launched on 3 September 2011 to protect private renters. It was created “by agents for agents in the industry” and is supported by the government.

SAFE – Safe Agent Fully Endorsed – is a mark denoting firms that protect landlord and tenant money through client money protection schemes. It gives consumers looking to rent or let a property the ability to instantly spot an approved letting agent and be more confident of a quality and secure service.

Would-be tenants should look for the Safeagent registered mark.
