Submission of Chesterfield Borough Council Local Plan - Regulation 22
The council submitted the Chesterfield Borough Council Local Plan 2018-2033 to the Secretary of State on 28 June 2019 for independent examination, in line with the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (2) - Regulation 22.
The documents include:

- Chesterfield Borough Council Sustainability Appraisal

- Chesterfield Borough Council Statement of Community Consultation (Regulation 22 (c) of the Town and Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended)
All representations received through the Regulation 19 consultation have been submitted to the inspectors.

Local Plan Inspectors
David Spencer BA(Hons) DipTP MRTPI, and Bryn Bowker Mplan MRTPI have been appointed by the Planning Inspectorate to conduct the examination into the Chesterfield Borough Local Plan to determine whether it is sound.
The timetable for the examination will be determined by the inspectors and will be able to be viewed, along with further details of the examination as it progresses, within the examination library under 'examination documents'.
The council has appointed Kerry Trueman and Sue Ashton as programme officers for the examination, to manage the administration of the examination on behalf of the appointed inspector and act as the liaison between the inspector and the council.
