Information for candidates

Briefing sessions for prospective candidates and election agents will be held at the following times:

• Thursday 9 March, 6pm - CANCELLED
• Tuesday 14 March, 6pm, Speedwell Rooms, Staveley
• Thursday 23 March, 6pm, Chesterfield Town Hall, Committee Room 1

These sessions will cover arrangements for the election, including nominations, postal voting, polling day and the count.

Candidate Nominations open on Monday 27 March and will close on Tuesday 4 April.

Information on becoming a Parish/Town Councillor can be found on the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) website.
