On Thursday 4 May 2023, residents in Chesterfield Borough Council wards went to the polls to select their representatives. 

Residents in Brimington and Staveley also elected councillors to Brimington Parish Council and Staveley Town Council. 

Changes to local electoral boundaries

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England developed new local electoral boundaries following a review last year. These will apply for the election on 4 May 2023 onwards.
