Housing allocations consultation

During the summer of 2018, Chesterfield Borough Council undertook a consultation about the proposed changes to the council’s Housing Allocations Policy. 

The consultation pack (which included a cover letter including background information, questionnaire, and an information sheet summarising the key changes to the policy) was sent to all of the council’s tenants, and also to all those currently on the housing waiting list. 

The consultation was also promoted on the council’s website, and four ‘roadshow’ events were held around the Borough for tenants to drop in during the consultation period.
