Have your say on the draft Visitor Economy Strategy

On this page you can find information about Chesterfield Borough Council’s draft Visitor Economy Strategy.

The council’s view is that the visitor economy has the potential to make a more significant contribution to the economic success of Chesterfield borough. The Visitor Economy Strategy sets out the role of the council in attracting more visitors to Chesterfield, generating additional visitor spend that will support existing employment and create new jobs in the local economy.

The strategy focuses on seven strategic priorities where we feel the Council can make a real difference in growing the visitor economy over the next five years.

You can share your views on this draft strategy and the proposed priorities in this short questionnaire (only four questions).

Your views will help shape the final strategy which will be considered by Cabinet in early 2022.
