Green bin stickers
If you have signed up for the garden waste service and you have not received your sticker, please email your name, address and purchase date to waste@chesterfield.gov.uk. Alternatively, please call us on 01246 345285.
Your subscription will be activated within seven days. After which, your collection will resume in line with your current collection calendar.
May update
If you sign up for the scheme during May, please allow for a slight delay in receiving your bin sticker. If you have signed up to the scheme but haven’t yet received a sticker, our crews have a list of all registered properties, and your bin will still be collected. Depending on your collection schedule, your collection service will start approximately seven days after you sign up. Thanks for your patience.

Find out when your bin will be emptied
You can check out when your bins are due to be emptied by logging into your My Chesterfield account.
You can find out if there was a problem when the crew came to empty your bin, or if they haven't finished their rounds yet.
Through My Chesterfield you can also:
- request a service or report a problem with your bins
- manage your Council Tax bills and payments, sign up for e-billing and direct debits
- tell us about something that needs cleaning up on a street, road or park
- report an issue that’s affecting you, such as noise or smoke
To register just enter your name, address and email address - we'll remember your details so you don't need to tell us every time you get in touch!
