Black bin - general waste

Your black or grey bin is emptied every two weeks, and is for any general household rubbish that can't be recycled through your blue or green wheelie bins, and grey food waste caddy. 

Yes please:

Household waste that can't be recycled.

No thanks: 

• any recyclable waste that can go in the blue bin
• batteries, paint, oil, chemicals and other hazardous waste such as baits, poisons and pesticides
• DIY or building waste such bricks, rubble, soil etc
