Join us as we switch on Chesterfield's Christmas lights, fun throughout the day with street entertainment, funfair rides, a Christmas market and a stage show.
From 12 noon you'll be able to see a fantastic variety of performers across the town centre, browse a great range of stalls at our Christmas Market and experience some thrilling fun fair rides.
The stage show begins at 4.30pm outside the Town Hall, and the lights will be switched on at 5.15pm. The stage show is in a new location this year due to the exciting regeneration works taking place in the town centre. A British Sign Language interpreter will sign the stage show performance.
Following the switching on of the lights, visitors can follow a festive brass band back to the town centre, to visit Tipi Christmas, the funfair, and market stalls, as well as local shops, cafés and restaurants.
