We have football pitches in parks and open spaces all around Chesterfield that your team can hire for a full season or occasional match.

Seasonal pitch hire

Everything you need to know about hiring one of our pitches, including our terms and conditions, prices, and application forms.

Please read through all the information carefully before applying, it might affect your application.

Football pitches are only available to hire between September and May each year.

We begin taking applications for the next season in the summer, email greenspaces@chesterfield.gov.uk or call 01246 345123 for more details.

Occasional matches

You can also apply to book one of our pitches for a one-off match. Maybe you want to play a pre-season friendly, or perhaps your usual pitch is water logged or you have a rearranged fixture.

Please use our occasional hire application form below; pitches are only available to hire between September and May each year.
