Parks and open spaces strategy 2022 to 2030
Our vision for parks and open spaces:
‘For every park and open space to offer a high quality and fulfilling experience; supporting biodiversity, promoting health, well-being and enjoyment, and improving the quality of life for residents and visitors to the borough.’
Our original strategy for Chesterfield's parks and open spaces was launched in 2003; the current strategy is based on research of best practice and consultation with residents and partners.
Our parks and open spaces delivery plan sets out those areas where we will focus resources over the next five years.
