Why do we need your up-to-date contact details?
We need your up-to-date contact information so we can send you reminders and keep you updated about your repairs.
How will we keep you informed about your repair?
You will receive a text message confirming when we will visit your home to complete your repair. An email will also be sent to confirm when an appointment has been booked and a reminder one day before the appointment.
We will also send a text message to let you know when the repairs operative is on their way and give you their first name, so you can be confident it’s a CBC employee.
What are the benefits of our new repairs system for tenants?
Our new system sends jobs directly to our employee’s mobile devices using a ‘Dynamic Scheduling tool’ enabling us to allocate repairs more efficiently. This will help to ensure fewer visits to complete a repair, resulting in more first-time repairs, fewer ‘no access’ visits and operatives will spend less time travelling or waiting for job information.
You will get clearer communication including real-time updates from our repairs team, so you know who is coming and when.
What if I don’t have an email address or mobile phone number?
We understand that some tenants prefer to receive information by post. Some information will always be sent by letter, but we are looking to use technology as much as we can to communicate with you. If we do not have up-to-date contact details, we will continue to post repairs appointment letters and other information you need from us.
