Are you ready to lead digital transformation in housing services?
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Digital Project Manager to join our team on an 18-month fixed term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the integration of housing systems and drive a modernisation programme that will transform how we deliver housing services across the council.
About the role
As Digital Project Manager, you will take ownership of a high-profile transformation programme, leading the integration of multiple housing software systems. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of the programme - from planning and implementation to evaluation.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the digital transformation of housing IT systems
- Coordinating project teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors
- Managing project plans, budgets, risks, and communications
- Overseeing process mapping, training, and data migration
- Delivering innovation and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone with:
- Strong experience managing ICT-related projects from concept to completion
- Experience with systems such as NEC Housing, TotalMobile, or Unit4 (Agresso) is highly desirable
- A proven track record of delivering system and process improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to analyse complex data and drive decision-making
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
Essential:
- Degree-level education
- Substantial experience in ICT systems and project delivery
- Experience leading change and rolling out new systems to diverse teams
