Private sector landlords across the region are being encouraged to attend a major housing conference this autumn, designed to help them understand and prepare for the changes introduced by the Renters' Rights Act.
The East Midlands Housing Conference 2026 will take place at the East Midlands Conference Centre on 20 October 2026.
Organised by DASH Services, and supported by Chesterfield Borough Council, the conference will provide landlords, letting agents and housing professionals with practical guidance on the real-world impact of the Renters' Rights Act. Delegates will hear from leading experts, gain practical advice on compliance, and explore how the reforms are reshaping the private rented sector.
Housing law specialist David Smith and Suzanne Smith, author of The Good Landlord Handbook, will deliver the keynote presentations. They will be joined by a range of expert speakers leading interactive workshops throughout the day. An exhibition featuring organisations that support landlords and housing professionals will also run alongside the conference. The event's main sponsor is indoor air quality and ventilation specialist ArcAirTech.
