We offer a comprehensive Learn to Swim pathway for all ages and abilities.
Our classes start from parent and baby Discovery Ducklings lessons for children aged from 12 months, which will eventually lead to our Ducklings and Stage 1 lessons of our Learn to Swim programme.
Our swimming lessons follow the Swim England Learn to Swim pathway to provide quality assured and structured lessons.
All our lessons are delivered by highly qualified and motivated staff in a safe and fun environment.
We offer Autism friendly lessons with specialised classes where we aim to provide a calm and relaxing environment for children to learn this important life still. All lessons are led by instructors trained to support children with additional needs.
One-to-One lessons are also available if you feel your child would benefit from one on one work with an instructor to improve their abilities and skills.
And that's not all, we also have Lifesaving courses available with our Rookies and National Lifesaving Academy lessons, which teach children how to be safe in the water through self rescue, survival rescue and lifesaving sport skills.
It's not only children lessons we offer, we run adult beginner lessons for those looking to get into swimming or improve the skills they already have.
Swimming assessments are carried out on an on-going basis, to ensure children are continually learning and moving up through the stages, which happens when they have reached the required level of proficiency.
Classes
To ensure progressive development, our classes run 50 weeks a year.
Payments for courses can be made via month Direct Debit or in 12-week blocks. See our full price list for current charges.
Any child enrolled on our learn to swim or dry side programme is entitled to free swimming with a paying adult. We do this to encourage children to come along and practice their skills, as even just playing about in the water increases core strength and fitness levels. Swimming often will help children move up the stages quicker.
