What do I need to know?

When attending a trampolining or gymnastics session:

  • bring a drink in a bottle, ideally just water, to rehydrate during or after the session
  • children with long hair must have their hair tied back

Child courses run for 48 weeks a year and are paid for via monthly directly debit.

Adult classes can be paid for week to week and no commitment is needed.

 

Information

It is an excellent alternative to traditional cardiovascular exercise, with the added bonus of a full body workout to increase strength and posture.

No experience is needed as our team of level two and level one coaches supervise and assist throughout.

 

British Gymnastics award scheme

We follow the British Gymnastics award scheme.

Sessions for children are held on Tuesday evenings, Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. Sessions are split into beginners, intermediates, pre-academy and academy (for competing).

 

Adult courses

Our adult classes take place on Wednesday, gymnastics runs from 7pm and trampolining from 7.30pm, no commitment is needed.

Information

Our British Gymnastics qualified coaches offer a full gymnastics programme from babies through to competitors.

 

Find out about:

  • pre-school gymnastics (crawlers to 5 year old)
  • gymnastics courses (5 to 13 years of age)

Gymnastics classes

Age: 5 to 13 years of age

Gymnastic classes last for one hour, and session times depend on the child's level. 

  • Tuesday: classes run between 4.30pm and 6.30pm
  • Wednesday: classes run between 4.45pm and 7.45pm
  • Thursday: classes run between 4pm and 7.15pm
  • Saturday: classes run between 9am and 5.30pm

 

British Gymnastics Award Scheme

Children follow the British Gymnastics Award Scheme and progress through proficiency levels as they go, attaining badges and certificates along the way.

 

Gymnastics academy

Promising young gymnasts may be invited to join our gymnastics academy and enter British Gymnastics competitions.

Gymnastics academy sessions are held on Tuesday from 6.30pm to 8pm, and on Saturday between 9am and 11am.

 

Pre-school classes

Our pre-school classes, which run in ten-week blocks, help your child to develop social and motor skills ready for joining our gymnastics course for school-age children.

 

Tiny Tumblers

Age: Babies crawling up to the age of 3

When: Mondays and Thursdays at various times

Tiny Tumblers is a parent participation session that encourages social and motor skills, co-ordination, strength, flexibility and physical skills such as movement, balance and control.

Using some gymnastics to help physical development, this class prepares toddlers to move into Little Tumblers where they take part independently.

Coaches are present to guide the session and ensure the safety of the session while children are supervised by a parent or carer.

 

Little Tumblers

Age: Children aged from 2 to 5 years old
When: Mondays and Thursday at various times

Little Tumblers gymnastics is an active way to learn.

Classes include games, gentle stretching and use of gym equipment to improve co-ordination, strength and flexibility, along with important physical skills like movement, balance and control.

The session may include parent participation, and our coaches are present to ensure safety of the session.
