Course offer - Refer a friend and receive a month of lessons free
If your child is currently enrolled in any of our courses, including swimming lessons, gymnastics, and trampolining, at Queen’s Park Sports Centre or the Healthy Living Centre, you can enjoy one month of free lessons when you refer a friend to enrol their child in one of our courses.
Here’s how it works:
- refer a friend who enrols their child in a course and opts to pay via monthly Direct Debit
- you’ll get one free month of lessons when their first Direct Debit payment goes through
- not paying by Direct Debit? No worries, you’ll get four extra lessons added to your block booking
Offer available through to the end of January 2025 for all courses at both Queen’s Park Sports Centre and the Healthy Living Centre (excluding climbing).
Terms and conditions
- new member must not already be on any courses at either centre
- new members must opt for monthly Direct Debit payments
- current members will receive a free month when the new member's first Direct Debit payment is made
- for non-Direct Debit members, four additional lessons will be added to their current block booking
- new customer must complete a referral form with reception either at the time of joining at the centre or when attending their first lesson if they have joined online in order for the offer to be processed
- if two people signing up at the same time, one cannot refer the other to receive a free month
- new member cannot make any new referrals until after their first Direct Debit payment has been collected
- maximum reduction is the equivalent price of your child’s current lessons

- new member refers to the new child enrolling onto a course

Terms and conditions
- new members must sign a 12 month Direct Debit contract
- current members must be an Active Fitness Direct Debit member and must have made at least one Direct Debit payment
- the free month will be added on to the end of the 12 month contract
- the free month will be processed upon new member making their first Direct Debit payment
- the maximum reduction you will receive is the equivalent price of a full paying adult member (£32)
We now offer a discounted pre-paid ticket for our playzone at The Healthy Living Centre.
For just £44 you will get ten play session for the price of eight.
Our play zone is set over five floors and is packed with fun activities to keep children busy. It is great for younger children to have fun in a safe and secure environment. With a mini climbing wall, ball pool, wave slide and helter skelter there are plenty of ways for them to burn off all that spare energy.

Tickets can be purchased at reception and must be presented on every visit.
Reduced tickets are available for children under two years old.
Get ten swims for the price of eight and enjoy the swimming session that suits you - lane swimming, family swimming, or early bird sessions.
Offer available on all ticket types - adult, junior or concessions.
Swims aren't transferable, and each swimmer must have their own ticket.
10 for 8 swimming vouchers must be used within six months of the date of purchase.
Are you an experience climber but never used our centre before?
When you register for climbing with us at The Healthy Living Centre, get your first climbing half price!
Registration form and photo quiz must be completed upon first visit, you will then get your first climb for just £3.50.
Registered climbing can bring up to two guests to climb with you who you will be responsible for, this could be to climb with friends or to bring children to have a go. (Normal charges apply for guests).

Bring the family swimming for just £15
Up to four people can swim together on our discounted family ticket - saving on the regular ticket price, for example:
- two adults and up to two children
- one adult and up to three children
Children are aged up to and including 15 years old, young people aged 16 and over are counted as an adult.
No more than two adults can swim using a family ticket.
Combine a swim with a relaxing spa session for just £7.50 when you visit the Healthy Living Centre, at Staveley.
Save on this combo deal when you using our pool for a general or lane sessions, you can also get access to our spa where you can unwind and have some time alone or with friends.
Spa use includes steam room, aromatherapy room, monsoon shower, ice fountains and hammam heated beds. Please note the sauna is currently closed.

Swimming with friends - offer ends 31 December 2024
Come along to our swimming with friends sessions at the Healthy Living Centre where you can bring a friend to swim for free.
This social swim is suitable for adults to help with physical and mental health by improving co-ordination, balance and flexibility and helping to alleviate stress with this relaxing and peaceful form of exercise.
When:
These sessions take place on Tuesday’s 9.30am to 11.30am and Sunday 6pm to 8pm only at the Healthy Living Centre until the end of December 2024. After this time the sessions will revert to the standard price for all attendees.
Price:
Members can bring a friend for free, while non-members will pay £5.30 which includes entrance for two people.
Must be 16+ years. No booking required.
