Derbyshire County Council is introducing a 'residents only' registration system at the Household Waste Recycling Centres.
Derbyshire County Council runs household waste recycling centres across the county.
They accept most types of household waste including excess bin waste, furniture, electrical appliances, fridges and freezers, green garden waste, carpets, paper, cardboard, glass containers, items from vehicle maintenance, oil, and small DIY jobs.
Chesterfield Household Waste Recycling Centre
The Chesterfield centre is open from 9.30am to 5pm every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. It can be found just outside the town centre at Stonegravels:
