The Chesterfield Visitor Economy Strategy sets out the role of the council in supporting the growth of the visitor economy over the period 2022 to 2027.
It seeks to build on a range of exciting opportunities, including the redevelopment of the outdoor market and major investment in Stephenson Memorial Hall, to attract more day and staying visitors to Chesterfield, generating additional spend and supporting jobs in the local economy.
