Metal detectors

Chesterfield Borough Council permits the use of metal detectors on some land in their ownership.

You will need permission from the council and to pay the annual administration charge of £30.

This charge should be submitted with your application (cheques should be made payable to Chesterfield Borough Council).

Alternatively, your application can be submitted by emailing a completed, signed copy of the agreement to environmental.services@chesterfield.gov.uk and calling 01246 345345 to provide payment, or by handing in the application at the customer service centre and making payment there.

An agreement will then be forwarded on receipt of your application.
