Tenant Satisfaction Measures - TSMs

Tenant Satisfaction Measures were introduced by government in 2023 and are designed to help you see how well social housing landlords are doing at providing quality homes and services, and where they need to improve.

Some of the indicators are collected directly from our housing management systems and other are collected through a survey of our tenants.

Some of the topics include:

  • repairs
  • building safety
  • your neighbourhood
  • complaints
  • engaging with our customers

How we collect the information

Every year, we will:

  • send out surveys to ask for your views on the housing service
  • report on information we record about our homes, estates and services
If our documents are not accessible to you, you can request a different format here.

Any questions, or need the survey in a different format?

If you receive a survey and have any questions or if you need the survey in a different format, like large print, easy read, British Sign Language, braille, or translating into another language, please do not hesitate to contact our policy team on 01246 959644 or email policyteam@chesterfield.gov.uk who will be happy to help you.

How the survey works

We will write to a random sample of our tenants, asking them to complete a tenant satisfaction survey, which can be completed by post or online.

All those who return the survey can choose to enter a prize draw for a chance to win one of four £50 Love2Shop high street shopping vouchers.

How you can see the results

Results from the survey will be published on our website every summer. View the latest results, and see how the survey was carried out.
