Housing associations, also known as registered social landlords, are non-profit making organisations.
There are 16 housing associations renting over 1,300 properties in Chesterfield borough. They are funded by the government and local councils to provide a range of affordable housing, housing-related services and support.
Each of the associations offers a proportion of their properties that are available to let through the Home Options choice-based letting system. In addition, several of the housing associations operate their own waiting lists and allocate their own properties.
There are a range of different housing options available in Chesterfield. Please go to the Home Options website for more information about options that may be available to you.
