Bring your child to one of our centres for a fun party with their friends.
We offer pool parties at Queen's Park Sports Centre, and at our Healthy Living Centre you can book a pool party or exclusive use of our Playzone!
Playzone parties
We offer Playzone parties for up to 40 children where they will have the run of the soft play privately for one hour. Playzone parties are available any day of the week.
Pool parties
We also offer swimming parties, where you will get the whole pool to yourself to have a splashing good time.
You can choose from our fun pool party with toys and floats or the Spike Island Inflatable which is ideal for older children aged 8 to 15 (available Saturdays only, subject to availability and staffing levels).
Party tables
Catering isn't provided but you will can bring your own food to eat after the party for a small table hire charge.
Book a pool party for a child's birthday for them to enjoy with their friends.
Small pool parties includes floats, toys and rafts for a maximum of 40 people which must include adults following our normal pool ratios. Parties are available on Saturdays at 4.30pm and Sundays at 4.30pm or 5.30pm.
Splash and Dash inflatable pool parties at Queen's Park Sports Centre are available for party hire on Saturdays 4.30pm to 5.30pm. These parties are suitable for ages 6+ as there is no deep end as the inflatable goes width ways across the shallow end meaning the pool will be no deeper than 1.2m.
Non-swimmers must wear armbands but will be able to use the inflatable.
Adults (16+) are allowed in the pool but not on the inflatable.
Normal pool ratios will apply. There is a maximum capacity of 30 people which includes adults.
Party room
A party room is also available to book for an additional charge where you will be able to bring your own food for after your activity.
Booking a party
Book a children's party by filling in a party booking form and take it to reception at the relevant centre. We take a payment at the time of booking.
Parties are discounted by 15% if you are an Active Chesterfield member (member discount does not apply to room hire).

We need all your correct contact details, including a contact phone number and an email address if you have one. We will let you know as soon as possible if your chosen date isn't available.
Cancellations
Party bookings may be cancelled with at least seven days’ notice to the centre in writing. Bookings cancelled under this time limit will be charged at full rate, unless re-let.
Please contact the Healthy Living Centre or Queen's Park Sports Centre as soon as possible to cancel your booking.
