Donate items to charity shops
Many local charities will be happy to take unwanted furniture, electricals, bric-a-brac and clothes, as well as toys, CDs, DVDs and sporting items that are in good condition.
The following charities have furniture collections in our local area:
Ashgate Hospice
Clothing, textiles, small electrical items, toys/games, books, toiletries etc. Please call 01246 203727 for these items to be collected.
For larger items such as sofas, beds, bedroom furniture, tables and chairs, bookcases, electrical appliances such as washing machines, fridge freezers etc. Please call the Furniture Shop on 01246 229536 for them to be collected.
British Heart Foundation
- Sofas, suites, armchairs
- Tables, chairs, desks, cabinets
- Beds and bedroom furniture
- TVs, Hi-Fis, washing machines, small electricals
- They can also collect clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, CDs, bric-a-brac and toys at the same time.
