How to sell to the council
We use a procurement portal to tender for contract opportunities.
Suppliers can view our current council tenders and contracts by register on our procurement portal.
Where applicable, contracts opportunities are also advertised through Gov.uk:
The implementation of the Procurement Act 2023 will mean that suppliers wishing to bid for public contracts must register on a central digital platform. Register online here or read the guidance about the central digital platform and publication of information.
Working with local suppliers
Chesterfield Borough Council is keen to offer contracting opportunities to local suppliers so we can support our local economy.
Although we cannot have preferred lists of suppliers, we encourage local suppliers to engage with us so they are provided the same opportunities to bid for work.
To find more about our contracting opportunities, please register on our procurement portal.
