What happens next?
We will let you know if we need to see any proof, or if we will visit your property to check that you qualify. If your application is successful we will apply the exemption or relief to your account.
We will send you a new bill and let you know your new payments. If your account is in credit you can claim a refund.
Tell us if something changes
You must tell us straight away if you are no longer entitled to an exemption or relief that you have been given. You must also tell us if we have given you an exemption or relief by mistake.
We may contact you from time to time to check that you are still entitled to the reduction that you have been given.
