Group visits

Come to Chesterfield, where you're sure of a great day out. Chesterfield is the first town in the East Midlands to receive the Coach Friendly Award from the Confederation of Passenger Transport because of the welcome we offer to coach drivers and passengers.

Chesterfield also won the Coach Friendly Town of the Year 2013 in the Coach Tourism Awards.

Take a day in the town to find out how the Crooked Spire got its twist, or go bargain hunting on Chesterfield Market. Have a rummage around the Thursday flea market, call in at the museum or explore the town centre with the free audio trail.

Stay overnight – Chatsworth, Hardwick HallRenishaw Hall and Gardens and Bolsover Castle are just a few of the things you’ll find just a short drive away. Check out what’s on at the Pomegranate Theatre and the Winding Wheel Theatre.

Find all the information you need to make the most of your visit to Chesterfield, including suggested itineraries on the Visit Chesterfield website. Or download the Chesterfield Group Guide (see below). Let us take the hassle out of booking your day, whether you want a guided walk of the town, overnight accommodation, a trip up the Crooked Spire or just free coach parking for the day. Why not stop off in Chesterfield for lunch, morning coffee or afternoon tea? We have plenty of coffee shops and lunch restaurants to choose from.

Coach parking

Park your coach at Chesterfield Coach Station free of charge, if booked in advance with Chesterfield Visitor Information Centre.
