The Transition Chesterfield Eco-Hub features a programme of events on Fridays, from keeping warm at home and gardening chat, to workshops on creative climate creations and Christmas crafting.
In May the team is hosting two workshops at the Eco-Hub. You can find the full list of events below:
Woodland Restoration Talk and Workshop - Friday 10 May 10.30am to 12 noon
The woodland slopes of the Derbyshire Dales have been devastated by ash dieback disease. Learn about LIFE in the Ravines, an exciting project working to restore the woodlands and gain hands-on knowledge about restoration, selecting tree species based on conditions.
Environmental workshop led by Don Catchment Rivers Trust - Friday 31 May 10.30am to 12 noon
Don Catchment Rivers Trust are organising group environmental discussions as part of their All Hands on the Don project. This first session will try out the format – with information at the start about the current state of rivers and then widening the discussion to areas of environmental interest for the group attending.
These Eco Hub events are free to attend, with no need to book. Refreshments are provided.
Sessions will be held at the Hub, 63 Low Pavement S40 1PB, next to Peacock’s Coffee Shop.
