Meet the apprentices

What better way to find out about apprenticeships than hear it straight from current apprentices in Chesterfield?

A number of current apprentices in Chesterfield – from a different range of companies – all gave their opinion on why apprenticeships are a good opportunity and how they can change your way of learning and get the experience of a working life.

Nathan Marriott - Chesterfield Royal Hospital

Nathan is a Level 3 Business Administration apprentice at Chesterfield Royal Hospital Foundation Trust.

Before beginning his apprenticeship, Nathan was undertaking a Welding and Fabrication Engineering course at Chesterfield College, however, his sights were always set on working for Chesterfield Royal Hospital Foundation Trust.

Martha Bramwell - Junction Arts

Martha Bramwell started working at Junction Arts as a part-time intern, before progressing to Projects Assistant through an apprenticeship.

Martha’s apprenticeship has allowed her to gain hands-on experience and an advanced education without going to university.

Henry Kay - BusinessWise Accountancy and Tax

Henry is a Level 2 AAT apprentice at BusinessWise Accountancy and Tax. Henry has already made a big impression with his employer, in 2022 he was nominated and shortlisted for the Love Chesterfield Apprentice of the Year award.

Such an accolade definitely provided a confidence boost and reflects how much he has impressed since he joined BusinessWise Accountancy and Tax.
