We are seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to join our Housing team as a Quality Control Inspector.

In this role, you will oversee the quality control and inspection of construction and improvement contracts within our Housing Capital Investment Programme.

You’ll work closely with a team of housing professionals to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities include:

  • conducting quality inspections for complex construction activities
  • enforcing Health and Safety standards across all projects
  • providing expert technical advice and support on various construction initiatives
  • to liaise between tenants, individuals, services areas and other organisations

 To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry
  • strong knowledge of housing issues, current legislation, and industry best practices
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • electrical skills are highly desirable
  • Level 3 construction/trade related qualification or working towards
  • an appropriate recognised building trade/professional qualification for example City and Guilds, ONC
