An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business development officer to join our busy Careline team, where you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with new clients and for driving growth within the service.
The post holder will also play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to expand our customer base.
Chesterfield Careline is our independently accredited 24/7 pendant alarm monitoring and falls response service that helps members of the community to live independently in their own home. The service also includes an emergency and falls response service.
Purpose of the role
As a Business Development Officer you will be responsible for assisting with the development and delivery of the Careline marketing strategy, identifying new business opportunities with both domestic and commercial clients, building and maintaining customer relationships, sector networking, maintain a full understanding of customer data, volumetrics and demographics and of reporting customer data, providing regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, income performance and competitor analysis to the leadership team

You will need to have a strong customer focused, marketing and business development background, strong data analysis and organisational skills together with a passion for driving efficiency and maintaining high standards. You will also need to demonstrate

- good communication skills (listening, spoken and written)
- excellent data management skills.
