Charges

Payment for EV charging is made direct to the charging network at their current price per kW. You need to be registered and have an active account with BP Pulse before using the charging points.

You will also need to pay the usual pay and display or pay on exit car park fee.

Availability

You can check availability of charge points via the BP Pulse app on your phone.

Please note that at St Mary's Gate and Durrant Road some of the charging points are at mixed use parking spaces that may be used by vehicles that are not using the charging points.

Please move your EV to another available space once you have finished charging, to free up the space for other EV drivers that need to use it.

Misuse of exclusive EV bays

Parking spaces that are marked for the exclusive use of electric vehicles must not be used by petrol/diesel vehicles or EVs that are not parked there for charging. Parking enforcement officers will issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) to vehicles that are not correctly parked. Find out more.
