Every Saturday we hold a fun family session in our pool taking place at 2.15pm to 3.45pm.

The session includes toys, floats and sinkers and is aimed at families, although children aged 8+ can attend unaccompanied as long as they are able to competently swim at least 50m in the pool.

It is advised adults swimming without children avoid these sessions.

Price:

  • Adult: £5.50
  • Child (under 16): £3.80
  • Under 3: free
  • Family (up to four people, maximum two adults): £15

Booking:

Booking is not required, however availability will be on a first come first served basis.

Normal ratios apply

The pool closes at 2pm to allow for set up of the session and for other swimmers to vacate the pool and changing area.

Parent and toddler swimming

Taking place every Thursday from 10am to 11.30am.

Our moveable floor will be raised to create a splash pad type area which will be set at

0.4m. Our shallow end of the pool will also be available for this session with a depth of 0.9m. Both spaces will have toys, floats and mats with music suitable for children also being played.

The session is suitable for children up to the age of five.

The cost is £5.30 per adult with children swimming for free (price only valid for this session, normal charge of £3.70 applies to children aged 3+ for all other swimming times).

No bookings are required. Normal ratios and admission rules apply.

Quiet sessions

Our leisure centres offer quieter sessions for our swimmers.

This is an opportunity to swim without music but does not guarantee silence from other users in this shared environment. These sessions can be ideal for anyone who experiences sensory overload, panic or anxiety in busy places or has an autistic spectrum condition.

The quieter sessions may change during selected school holidays, so please check with us to avoid disappointment.
