We issue residents parking permits and on-street parking fines on behalf of Derbyshire County Council. For this processing, Chesterfield Borough Council is a data processor on behalf of Derbyshire County Council, who is the data controller.
For other parking permits (monthly or annual car park permits) and off-street parking fines, Chesterfield Borough Council is the data controller for the personal information collected.

If we issue your permit on behalf of Derbyshire County Council (residents parking permits), we may share some information with them.
We are required to share data about residents parking permit holders and blue badge holders with the Cabinet Office. This forms part of a national data matching exercise to prevent and detect fraud.
