Bin collections
Some bin collections days will change during Christmas and the New Year, see the dates below. Please make sure your bins are put out by 7am on collection day as we may not empty your bin at the usual time.

Rural and narrow streets
Green bins that are due for collection on Thursday 26 December will be collected on Friday 27 December instead. There is no change to the collection dates of blue and black bins on rural and narrow streets.

All our car parks in Chesterfield are open as normal, apart from Beetwell Street multi-storey car park which will be closed on:

Our customer service centre and the Town Hall will be closed on the following days:

An emergencies-only repairs service is available on the following days:

If you are a council tenant and need an emergency repair (for example a burst pipe) please call 01246 345041. This is for emergency repairs only, the operator will not be able to transfer calls or handle other enquiries.
