We offer multi sports activities and pool parties at Queen's Park Sports Centre, and at our Healthy Living Centre you can book a pool party or exclusive use of our Play zone!

Our Play zone is set over five floors and is packed with fun activities to keep children busy.
Play zone great for younger children to have fun in a safe and secure environment. With a mini climbing wall, ball pool, wave slide and helter-skelter there are plenty of ways for them to burn off all that spare energy. We even have a separate area suitable for children aged under four years old including mini slide and ball pit.
We offer play zone parties for up to 40 children where they will have the run of the soft play privately for one hour.
Days and times:
Play zone parties are available any day of the week (subject to availability).
Price:
One hour private hire: £115
Terms and conditions:
- Play sessions last one hour only and children will not be able to re-enter after that time. Parties longer than one hour are available on request at time of booking.
- Socks must be worn, and we advise you cover arms and legs.
- Food and drink must not be taken into the soft play area.
- All children must be aged up to ten years and under 148cm.
Get exclusive access to our whole pool when you book a Blue Lagoon party with us.
Our pool party comes with floats, rafts and toys, with background music available throughout.
You have the option to have our moveable floor raised to create a shallow area for younger children and those not so confident swimmers.
There is a maximum capacity of 50 people which includes adults.

Pool ratios:
- Under eight, one adult to two children
- The ratio can be increased when a third non-swimmer child wears approved flotation aids e.g. armbands with the CE mark.

- All non-swimmers and week swimmers must wear armbands and be supervised at all times.
- Adults are required to be in the water with non-swimmers at all times
Party table hire
Catering isn't provided at our centre but you are welcome to bring your own food to eat after the party for a small table hire charge.

Make a splash when you book a pool party for your child's birthday.
Small pool parties includes floats, toys and rafts for a maximum of 40 people which must include adults following our normal pool ratios.

Splash and Dash Inflatable pool party
Climb over, under and round the obstacles on our giant inflatable aquarun, racing your opponent to the big splash at the end!
These parties are suitable for ages six and above as there is no deep end as the inflatable goes width ways across the shallow end meaning the pool will be no deeper than 1.2m.
Non-swimmers must wear armbands but will be able to use the inflatable.
Adults (16+) are allowed in the pool but not on the inflatable.
There is a maximum capacity of 30 people which includes adults.

Make up teams and play 5-a-side football, basketball, netball, badminton and table tennis.
You can choose one or a combination of activities. Please inform staff when booking of your choice.
Parties last for 90 minutes for a maximum of 20 children.

Multi Sports Activity Party: £125
Terms and conditions:
- Booking time will include set up and clear away – this will be carried out by our centre attendants. However organisation and supervision of the activities will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
- Parent/guardians must remain on site throughout the booking.
Party room
A party room is also available to book for an additional charge where you will be able to bring your own food for after your activity.
Price:
Room hire: £28
Book a children's party by filling in a party booking form and take it to reception at the relevant centre. We take full payment at the time of booking.
Parties are discounted by 15% if you are an Active Chesterfield member (member discount does not apply to room and table hire).

We will require all your correct contact details, including a contact phone number and an email address if you have one.
Party bookings may be cancelled with at least seven days’ notice to the centre in writing. Bookings cancelled under this time limit will be charged at full rate, unless re-let.
Please contact the Healthy Living Centre or Queen's Park Sports Centre as soon as possible to cancel your booking.
